He has had work assignments here in the United States, China, Ireland, Italy, and Luxembourg, working on original equipment automobile tires, truck tires, industrial rubber products, and new tire materials technologies. He is the originator of a broad range of patents in tire and rubber technology and many industry publications including editor of the text, Rubber Compounding, Chemistry and Applications, and the text, Tire Engineering, both published by CRC Press. Brendan has a PhD in chemical engineering from The Queen’s University of Belfast in Northern Ireland, where he studied thermodynamics, heat transfer through large rubber sections, and vulcanization kinetics. Dr. CC Ho has more than 45 years’ experience as a research scientist in materials science and latex technology. He received PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, UK in 1972 His research was on the Synthesis, Characterization and Properties of synthetic latex systems. He was a research officer at the Rubber Research Institute Malaysia in early 70’s and moved to University of Malaya in 1975 where he retired as the head and professor at the Department of Chemistry. He was the R&D Director at a glove factory in Thailand (1999-2002). Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor of University of Tunku Abdul Rahman. He is also a consultant for the rubber latex industry and conducts technical training courses on latex science and technology for the glove industry since 2007. He has published extensively technical papers on rubber latex properties; formation and morphology of latex films. He holds six international patents as co-inventor on rubber latex and palm oil emulsion systems.

Professor Dr. Kinsuk Naskar received his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Polymer Science and Technology in 1998 from the University of Calcutta. In early 2000, he completed his M.Tech in Rubber Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur (Silver Medalist). In April 2000, he joined the University of Twente, The Netherlands as a Ph.D. employee under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jacques Noordermeer in a project funded by Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI). He received his Ph.D. degree in June 2004. Since August 2004, he joined Rubber Technology Centre, IIT Kharagpur as a Faculty member. Currently he is holding the position of a full Professor. In 2005 he received DPI Patent Award from The Netherlands for his invention. In 2008 he received prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship from Germany and worked in the group of Prof. Dr. Gert Heinrich. In 2016 he received as the first Indian the prestigious Morand Lambla Award in Lyon, France from International Polymer Processing Society (PPS). In addition, Van has a long-term joint venture collaboration with SRP Synthetic Rubber Products, Pvt. Ltd. In Bangalore, India to design and build molding presses and ancillary equipment for the rubber industry.
